Please throw some light on the guidelines while using Singleton pattern in an application that will be deployed in a clustered environment

Thanks

well, presumably you'll get a separate ClassLoader for each server in the cluster, so if you put your "singleton" in a static class variable, you'll presumably get a copy on each server?

Not sure whether you'll get multiple copies of the ServletContext too, maybe it will depend on the vendor?
