Hi,
I want to change the directory from inside a batch file which is executed from my java program, using the Runtime.exec("xxx.bat"). For that i had in the batch file a statement like "cd ..", once this statement is encountered the batch file stops processing further.

The batch when executed standalone works perfectly?

Could anyone let me know what am i doing wrong?

Give an example of the contents of your batch file; if it is very large just post the salient part.
