* I create connection c1 with Connection pooling enabled in my Jdbc Driver.
* Then I close the connection c1 and create another connection c2 .
* Now I'm able to use the APIs' like c1.setCatalog(),c1.getCatalog(),c1.commit(),c1.rollback() etc.. which appears strange for me.
* When I close c2 and then use these APIs on c1 the API's fails with "Connection does not exist error" .

Does it means whie using connection pooling to create connections the previously closed connection object name even gets duplicated while another connection is created ?

Please clarify this behavior.

Thanks in Advance,

What are you using for your "Connection pooling..... in my Jdbc Driver"?

Sounds like a buggy implementation, or a pool with only 1 single physical connection in it perhaps?

After you do your "c1.close()", when you can supposedly still call methods on it, what do you get if you try "c1.isClosed()"?
