I have a class PersonTest with 3 methods: testA (with 2 asserts), testB (with 2 asserts) and testC (with 3 asserts).

How many tests do I have 3 or 2+2+3?

I can run the class PersonTest using Run/as junit tes.
The answer is that there are 3 tests?? run: 0 errors and 0 failures.

So my question is what is a test really in Junit under eclipse?

Furthermore, if I can run PersonTest, what is the interest of a suite?

As you can see I have a problem of understanding of the terminology. Your help would be welcome.

Christelle

You might need lots of tests for a single method, or you might not even need any tests for a method, depending on the method.
