We have been retained by our client to search for a Senior Java Engineer. The person needs to have strong understanding of Java, J2EE and OO concepts. Strong knowledge of multi-threading and concepts of Java memory space, deadlocks and memory leaks is required. The candidate must be passionate about programming and doing hands on development. The ideal candidate will have experience with Capital Markets (Fixed Income securities in particular). This is a permanent position is based out of downtown San Francisco.


CANDIDATE MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE US


Reuired Skills:
Experienced Java developer, at least 5 years experience
Strong OO analysis and design skills
Good understanding of and hand-on experience with J2EE
Capital markets domain knowledge & experience
Java Swing programming experience
Strong communications and presentation skills
Experience with concurrency and multi-threaded programming
Other pluses: XML, JNI, JTA, JSP, JAAS, SQL, JDBC, UML
