how to configure eclipse to access remote application server - on windows machine

I have installed Eclipse3.0, Tomact5.0, SDK1.4.2, and ANT plugin. I am able to configure and do sample test with Eclipse,tomcat, SDK and ANT.
The requirement is to use the apache/tomcat as only Web server. The application server is a remote server (NEW ATLANTA). Is there a way to configure eclipse/tomcat to access the remote application server?
Please guide me.
