The ejbCreate() method is not present in any interface or class. The developer has to provide ejbCreate() method in the bean class and a create() method with the same signature in the bean's home class. The client invokes the home interface create() method which in turn makes the container call the ejbCreate() and passed the same parameter passed by the client.

It's is mandatory to provide the ejbCreate()method in session bean where the return type is void.Whereas in case of entity bean the bean can have no or more than one ejbCreate()method.But the return type has to be some unique identifier.
