I have an index of 35000 documents. Some of them (near 5000 of them) are large pdf files (300 pages). The final index makes 213Mb.



There is no problem when I work with it, when I search in it. My problem is that when I want to add files to it it takes a long long time : 4mn for a single document. I use the .addIndexes() function. It works welle but it takes a long time. Can anyone give me a solution? Is a 213Mb index file normal?
