I have the same problem as venki':

Hi all, My jasper reports run fine on windows but i cant run them on linux . following is the error:
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /usr/local/Java/j2sdk1.4.2_08/jre/lib/i386/libawt.so: libXp.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory at java.lang.ClassLoader$NativeLibrary.load(Native Method).
May be there is certain package or dependancies missing ..



Another Question: How can I install iReport and run it in linux?


can anybody help me pls? thanks in advance.

ah you've got the "headless" problem, google and you'll find lots of discussion of it.
