I have a JVM already running in by process. But is a requirement that is forcing us to consider creating another JVM within the same process. Is it possible start another one in the same process?

In the case of it is not possible, then can be start a new JVM in a seperate process excecute the JNI call from a process that is already running?

It would be great if some body can help me in this regard.

Thanks in anticipation

I think you can't have two different JVM's inside one processs.

But you can start another JVM as a different Process using java.lang.Runtime class.

Hope this might help you.
