Hello, I am looking for help with On how to have multiple select drop downs on one page. I have manage to populate one from the database but when I add another the system falls over.

If anybody has some code or examples of how this can be achieved that would be great. In addition how would you then reference all of the muliple outputs and run a SQL query against these on the 'action' page.

Apologise I am aware this may be very simple but we all have to start somewhere :o)

U can have any number of select menus on a page.
One things. Are all the select menus different???
Then wht u do is,,. While loading the page, send the request to the Action page, create hashtables for all the values that u want. Put the hashtable in session. Forward to ur Page, there get the Hashtables from the session, and write select buttons as we normally do.

If all select options are of same field, say Company..for example.. then u can give then different names by attaching some index, like Company_1, company_2 etc.. and te same u can refr in Request.getparameter();... and use in query.

I hope tis is sufficient.
