does the wildcard feature of Struts work?

i imported the mailreader example application to WSAD6.0 from the 1.2.4 release but i get this compilation error in struts-config-registration.xml : /Edit* not valid for action path the error relates to the below code: type="org.apache.struts.webapp.example.Edit{1}Action" name="{1}Form" scope="request" validate="false"> does anyone know what's is missing here? thanks Rivka    More>>

this looks fine to me. WSAD has a tendency to depend on an internal validator that is out of sync with the specs of the framework. if this is just a red 'x' and you can still run the app, ignore it (i do this all the time). if it's an error when you are starting up the app, check the struts.jar version. wildcard mappings are only available since 1.2.0. -/a
