I am learing Javamail. I set my CLASSPATH to include the "mail.jar" file obtained from the download, as well as the current directory. Also included the "activation.jar" file obtained from downloading the Java Activation Framework, in my CLASSPATH.I compiled one of the demo programs. When i tried to run it, i got "Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: mesgsendsample".Please give me a solution to successfully send an email using javamail.

Add the path of the folder from which you are running to teh CLASSPATH.

Close the Java editor / command prompt which you are using and then try running the Java program.

Let us know what happens?
