Hi friends,
I had an earlier question on how to check the status of a local printer connected to our system(OS = Linux). Now I am in grave need of a way to check if a printer is ON or OFF configured in a samba folder in another computer.I need to call the function in a web appliation and continue with the job only if the printer is ON(read: not like if its configured, I dont want anything in Queue), else it should give me an error message.Anybody good at C or Java do help me out with a sample code. Expecting a reply ASAP.
