I have a small conflict in modeling the data validation.

I'm working on a software, and still in the analysis study, I have some conditions on the data entry, for example: Unique number, or date should be after specific date, etc...

So, should I represent the data validation in the analysis of the software or in the design ...?

In addition, should I model it in the activity diagram if I put it in the analysis stage ...?
