I want to build a jsp application .Whatever the data we entered against the input form is going to store in a xml file.Suppose ten records are exists in the xml file . I want to traverse throw each record and retrieve the record whic we want.

Could you tell me what are the java api's that satisfies these requirements . And please tell me the procedure to implement this application in Apache TOMCAT and Weblogic application servers .

you can use any xml parser(JDOM, XPP3, DOM...) to parse the xml files and then finally show the data in it according some id field in the xml.Its better to use XSLT using TransformFactory available in java API.

it works very well in Tomcat.
