hi


in the application i'm writing currently, the client connects to the server and receives String[] objects thru an ObjectInputStream.


all works fine for the first object: it gets received by the client. but the second one does not and throws StreamCorrupted...


why? somewhere i read to have the server wait for some time (maybe 100ms?) would that solve it? and would it be a healty cure for the problem?

I too occasionally get the same error message, but it is sporadic, and doesn't occur consistently on all machines/applications. I get a StreamCorruptedException for the first time, when the client connects to the server. However the next time when it trys to receive some object, it works fine.

Any workarounds? Or what is a solution to this problem? Have you been able to solve it?
