Hi Vikram,
The SCJP is indeed a good thing for a person who wants
to pursue his computer career ahead into the field of
development with Java.
But mind u, here in India, certifications are not
everything !! They do help a person in case he/she has
already done a professional course like M.C.A. or M.S.
U said that u r a 2004 passout. Which course have u done ?
If u did ur MCA, then indeed I suggest u shud
go for SCJP. It will definitely help u.
As far as getting jobs abroad is concerned, well why do
u want 2 go abroad ? The story is same everywhere.
Freshers are not required anywhere. Only people above
1 year of experience are getting jobs.
Try in some Private companies also. The field of software
development is definitely a lucrative one but it demands
initial struggle. Very few lucky ones get into MNCs in
their first shot.
However, keep trying and don't lose heart. It's tough for
a fresher 2 get a break..but once u get the break, u go on
an on...Look 4 a start anywhere...not just in MNCs.
If u could provide me more details of urself and ur
academics, I cud guide u further
U can also mail me at sherbir@gmail.com
Hope this Helps...
Cheers !!
