DailyRollingFileAppender : still partly logging to previous day

Hi,
we are using the DailyRollingFileAppender. What happens is that at midnight, the log file is rolled over ok, but logging now goes partly to the new file and partly to the rolled over file (roughly 50:50) Has anybody else had similar problems? We are using iPlanet. The log files are quite large (over 10 megs).

Yes, we have been having the exact same issue. The log file rolls, but the application continues to log into the old file, not the newly created one.
