Hi friends, In our web development project, we have Oracle 9i installed on Win2K Prof Server.Tomcat ver -5.0.28 is also installed on the same. Project architecture is having Struts framework (v1.2), Spring (1.1.2) & Hibernate framework (2.1). All these components are installed on a Intel-P4, 512Mb Ram windows box. We are facing follwoing issue - After login, it takes lot of time (20 - 30 minutes) to load further subsequent pages. We have tried to find out but have no idea why this is happening. We would like to know whether this is a Tomcat issue or a Oracle 9i (on Win2K) or hibernate framework issue. Highly appreciate, if someone can throw lights on this & guide us in identifing the root cause. Thanks in ad   More>>

The ONLY thing you can really do at this point is to start reviewing log files. You have so many components listed that it is going to be impossible to pinpoint what is causing the problem. Look at your Oracle logs, but unless you have a really screwed up database, this is probably not the issue.

Look at your Tomcat logs to see what it is doing. Also, you might want to write a very simple program that does something like "select 1 from dual" just to make sure that your architecture (web server - Tomcat - Oracle) is correctly set up.

Good luck
