Problem is related to java.util.zip.Deflater class

Can we use java.util.zip.Deflater class to find the difference between two files say binary difference, like in versioning systems?



If yes, can we use this diffrence file to regenerate the new version by applying the difference file on old version ?

You could try, but whatever needs to use the binary files might or might not be happy with the results...
