I recently installed Java's SDK version 1.4.2_04 on my


computer. It came bundled with Netbeans but when I tried


to run Netbeans from the desktop icon I get "cannot load


jvm.dll" What's with this?

Under "Posting Guidelines" the answer appears to be quite good. However, for a nut like myself, I realize your answer is in regard to running code from the Command Line prompt. Can you reframe your answer to include, how to get to the command line prompt and up to the posted answer?
Also,
--Is there any way to know the reason for this error?
