I have bought a Socket Plus board from Systronix since I want to have a serial port with hardware flow control (RTS/CTS). When I try to open (javax.comm.CommPortIdentifier.open) serial2 my java program just stops (e.g. no response).

I know that the external serial ports are disabled by default and that you can use TINIOS.setExternalSerialPortEnable to fix that. I also know that you can set the address with TINIOS.setExternalSerialPortAddress and that 0x200008 is default. I read in the newsgroup that 0x380028 is the address for serial2 on the Socket Plus board. I have tried both of this settings but none work.

Do I use the wrong address or have I missed something else?
