Is there any implementation difference between setting up a MessageListener and calling receive(0) on SwiftMQ router?

We have a JMS Client tries to retrieve messages from a topic and passes these messages to the other application. If choosing to use receive(0) , will it block some resources on the router or just the calling thread on the client side be blocked?

Both work on the client-side message cache. During onMessage, a thread from the client's session pool is blocked. For receive(), the thread calling the method is blocked. There are no resources used at the router.
