I'm quite new to ANTLR, but I'm extremely impressed by the power of it. I'm currently writing a Java GUI (open source) for developing Lua (http://www.lua.org/) code. Lua is well documented and I've tried hard to get a grammar file written for it (as well as tree grammar). However, the learning curve to write correct grammar has been very steep. I've searched high and low for any ANTLR/Lua information, but there's pretty much none out there. So far I've used some of the existing grammar files (java 1.5 mostly) to figure out how to write the correct grammar syntax. The lua code "grammar" is defined here: http://www.lua.org/manual/5.0/manual.html#BNF Anyhow, does anyone know    More>>

Anyhow, does anyone know of any Lua/ANTLR information out there? It would help greatly, as I'd love to build the "first" Lua GUI that does code assist and instant error checking. I know there's a few Lua code "coloring" syntaxes out there, but that's not what I'm after.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Emil
