SwiftMQ sometimes hangs during topic connections and disconnections, keeping connection process in stasis until SwiftMQ is killed and restarted

I've had a few occasions where my client is calling JMS connection methods, and the methods do not return (until the SwiftMQ router is killed). I've seen this happen at one of multiple calls, such as looking up the TopicConnectionFactory from the SwiftMQ initial context (found using smqp://host:4001/timeout=10000), createTopicConnection(), or createTopicSession().

What causes the router to get into this state? How can I prevent it from happening?

This is with SwiftMQ 4.7.0 running on Solaris. I've seen it happen on multiple servers. I believe one is running under Java 1.4.2, while the other is 1.4.1_05.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Again, use 1.4.2_05 for the router, please.
