Hi Maria,

Take a look at http://snowtide.com/home/PDFTextStream/

It is a PDF extractor lib that you can build off of. You can download the library on a trial bases that gives you all of the functionality of the actual version but it will place a non-commercial remark in the converted text implying that you can't use it commercially until you purchase a license. It also offers a PDF file in the download that offers all the documentation for implementing PDFTextStream.

Hope this helps.
