You must have meant "Servant" as in "employee", right? (temporary vs permanent employee)

where did u get these keywords - temp and perm for servlets ..i m sure we all know it its just that i need to know the reference / background of this question. is it that u destroy a servlet thru another ? or is it a single threaded model in which the thread is gone after each request is serverd so called temp servlet ???
Interesting question. Need to know if the terms are industrywide used or u came up with these words..
