actually i want to count the number of routers i.e. no. of hops i have also seen the MulticastSocket class and its methods getTTL and setTTL i have also used them but after sending a UDP packet the TTL value doesn't increment or decrement....
Then some one told me java doesn't support ICMP so u can't do that do it thru JNI(new to me)...........
Kindly help me i have to submit that project within three days tell me the exact method of making it
