Hi there!


I have an idea of a new type of diagrams, which I call "why" diagrams.


Most of traditional UML diagrams are about "whats" and "hows": what should be done and how it should be done. But there is one more important question: why it was designed so?


If you are interested I can explain this concept in details.


I use the diagrams in my projects and I find them pretty useful.

Reasons for design decisions should be catered for by the class / relationship description or by the inclusion of additional annotation objects. I am not sure that additioanl diagrams are really warranted but good luck.
