Sir/Madam,
We know that whatever DB operations we are doing thro' java is auto commit.My questions is that How we are saying is it auto commit,who is calling con.commit internally ?.

Hi,


If you are using a database client like SQL Plus to connect to oracle and setAutoCommit on then when you give each statement it gets automatically commited.Means there will not be any block transactions.Each statement is considered a separate transaction and is commited.


In the same by default the connection would have the autocommit value set to true.So each statement given is commited separately and you don't have to call conn.commit().
