Hi,

I am currently working on a project using JBoss 3.0.6.

This version of JBoss uses Tomcat 4.1.8.

I just wanted to know that, is hot deployment possible in tomcat webserver ? Because its very tedious to restart the server each time, we make changes to the .java file.

If its possible, pls. explain.

Thanx in advance.

Yes, Tomcat will automatically deploy/re-deploy .war files when they are added or changed. I think you may be able to force a reload throught the admin console tool also.
