We can use Threads in Two ways, one is by extending Thread class and the another is by implementing Runnable interface. But this is not the case with Applets (the only way is to Extend the Applet class).
Even though Extending more than one class is not allowed in java, they could have provided the implementation of Runnable interface alone and why not they have provided two ways of using Threads?
Could anyone please clarify this?
