I am having problems with my applet. Can anyone help me figure out the error?

I created an applet, which would allow a user to draw an image (just as in paint). This image is captured by the event handler in the applet. I compiled the applet java file on my local machine and uploaded this on to another server. When I try to load this applet on my machine it works fine, but when try to run the same on other machines, it says class not found. Am I missing some security policy issue?

Please help me.

Thank you.

Are you compiling the applet with the command prompt or an IDE such as JDeveloper?

Also, which JDK version do you have defined in the OS classpath

...and the version of JDK for the IDE that you are compiling the applet with?
