Hai, when i run the application on standlone system it is working properly and creating log files, but when i deploy and run the same application on j2ee server it is giving errors.

log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (mypack.ConfigureLog).

log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.

where to place the place the xml file.

plz tell some sugession

It (log4j.properties or log4j.xml) is accessed as a "resource" so it needs to be on the CLASSPATH. For a WAR file (web application), this means in the "WEB-INF/classes/" directory. For an EJB Jar, I think this means in the root level of the Jar?
