Is there any way of retrieving complete(all) mails from my mail box.

i have written a java client code.
my code works fine for sending mail and attachments,
iam able to retrieve only new messages,
but iam unable to retrieve my old messages which i have read.is there any possibility to retrieve my old messages.

if any would guide i would be greatly thankful to them,

Are you sure they are still on the mail server? Once you've downloaded the messages, typically, they are deleted from the server and only available in your mail client. You need to have "leave on server" set for the configuration.
