either your mail server is not running or there is a problem with your jar files (activation.jar, mail.jar, pop3.jar) download these jar files and put it in the lib directiry of tomcat web server and also include it in your classpath.

That must be dreadful for you.;-). Is that machine available (try ping). Is there a mail server running on that machine?
