I have a problem.
I have a few tasks that I need to execute.
Each of these can execute independent of the other.
But I still have to wait for all the tasks to execute and then send the all the results *together* back to the calling program.
Would it be advisable to execute the tasks as different threads.
This is executing on a single processor system.
Wouldnt it take longer for the calling program to receive the results if the tasks were executing as different threads owing to the multithreading overhead, than it would had they been executing sequentially?
