I'm using FOP to convert xml to pdf in my application which uses Tomcat 4.1.18.
My servlet calls a service which picks up an xml file and xsl file available in the server and generates pdf file and returns the file object back to servlet. i transfer the file content to response outputStream. While doing so, when the xml file is very huge, the process takes high amount of CPU and memory and even when the browser is closed, the process does not stop. it continues to consume the same amount of CPU and memory
Can anybody throw some light on it.
