Hi,
Some time ago, I have seen that it was possible to turn log4j in some sort of verbose mode so it sumps on the console the way it processes the configuration it is fed with.
As far as I remember, it is an argument to be passed through the VM (something like java myProgram -
theArgumentIForgot
).
