Here's a strange conundrum. I want to use where my.message=This is my message and it is in {0}. my.language=English That works fine if I do: or <% String aVar = "Spanish"; %> <%= aVar %>" /> But what if arg0 has to be I18N'd and I don't want to use scriptlets? I can't do this, can I? Or do I have to rely on the fmt: tag? What's the best way of going about this? Currently,   More>>

Here's a strange conundrum.

I want to use

where

my.message=This is my message and it is in {0}.
my.language=English

That works fine if I do:

or

<% String aVar = "Spanish"; %>
<%= aVar %>" />

But what if arg0 has to be I18N'd and I don't want to use scriptlets?

I can't do this, can I?

Or do I have to rely on the fmt: tag?

What's the best way of going about this? Currently, I'm pulling the formatted text from the bean into a variable and tossing that variable into the arg0 spot.

I can answer this question now.

Combine Struts Tags with JSTL to toss tag values into Struts tags.

A big THANK YOU to every single one of you who helped answer this question.

Captain, set sarcasm to stun.
