My servlet extends the JAXMServlet in the jaxm-api jar. In my onMessage(..) method, I compose up a simple hello world response and send it back. The client receives the exception

com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.SOAPExceptionImpl: Invalid Content-Type:text/html. Is this an error message instead of a SOAP response?

I cannot determine what I am doing wrong. My service is a simple hello world. Or, is the JAXMServlet is not setting the correct return type?

I tried overriding the doPost method and setting content type explicitly after calling super.doPost. However, I get a response already committed error.

Thanks.

See,
In your class, do not override the doPost method or make such calls to any httpmethods. Also have you implemented the ReqResponseListener or the OnwWayListener is also important
