I need some advice about building my Java-Xml application.

It's Intelligent tutoring system.
It have to make next:
When student log-on SessionManager makes instance of Student class and get data from xml file if it is already registered user. After session it have to save data from Student class in xml fajl.
My question:
1) How to make that "new student" create new xml file (from some template file or xml schema?)
2) what parser (SAX or DOM) is better to use in this case

Thanks for your help in advance

Zoran.

Well, I think we need a bit more information here. Is this application not going to have a database? Or are all data going to be stored in the XML files, i.e. 100 students, 100 different XML files? Or this application will have the database but will read and write data through XML?

I am just a bit confused about what the architecture of this application is. If you provide just a bit more architectural information we may be able to assist you more intelligently :)
