I would like to perform deferred request-response type of processing. There may be concurrent request-response pairs exist at any instant. Using temporary queues between the sender(requestor) and reciever (responder) is the suggested way.
How do I create temporary queues in JMS?
Can I create the temp queue in code and the code portable?

Are there any other ways? Why not use a common queue and use message selector to identify the pair of sender and receivers?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

A temporary queue is created with the createTemporaryQueue() in the QueueSession interface. Then, you can create the queueSender and the queueReceiver much like you would with permanent queues.

You can also use message selectors but they will almost certainly not perform as well as using a queue without message selectors.
