In the swiftmq home page Multicast Extension is described as a reliable multicast, but in detail page
(http://www.swiftmq.com/products/extension/multicast/index.html) the word 'reliable' is not used, here is wrote that is NOT guaranteed that messages are not lost. Someone know how is implemented this extension and when messages are lost ? Thanks

SwiftMQ uses LRMP (Lightweight Reliable Multicast Protocol). The "Reliable" term means here it uses an ACK/NAK protocol to avoid packet loss. However, multicast is n:m and it depends on the speed of the consumers, the number of multicast clients and the resp. window sizes whether a packet could be resent and thus is not lost. LRMP has many options to configure flow control etc.
