1. I need to copy strings to an JTextPane, but it doesn´t work within an applet... How can I get it?


2. How can i redirect an user to download the jre when the applet doesn´t load in its browser?

2. You could have your Javascript check for the applet and if it fails to start, pop up an alert box, suggesting that they try downloading a JRE, warning that it may take several hours if they are on a slow download, etc. etc.... plus remember also that they may even have a JRE installed already, but have disabled Java applets in their browser.
