hi

Is there a way to make JVM locale sensitive

so that when I call Float.toString() or

Double.toString() I can get a localized decimal

point representation automatically?

Also when I call Float.parseFloat() or

Double.parseDouble() these methods will accept

localized decimal point representation automatically?

E.g. I may use "," as decimal point instead of "."

Thanks,

Read DecimalFormat and NumberFormat classes in the Java API and Tutorial. They are locale sensitive. See example in http://oss.software.ibm.com/cgi-bin/icu/lx/en_US/?_=vi.
