Hello Sir, I am OCP Developer6/6i,OCP8i DBA and OCP9i DBA.I am trying to install Oracle9i R1 on Linux RedHat 9. I have installed jdk 1.1.8 v3 in /usr/local directory.But i am still getting the following error message when i run installer :- [oracle@server oracle]$ /mnt/cdrom/install/linux/runInstaller Initializing Java Virtual Machine from /tmp/OraInstall/jre/bin/jre. Please wait... /tmp/OraInstall/jre/bin/../lib/i686/native_threads/libzip.so: symbol errno, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference (libzip.so) Unable to initialize threads: cannot find class java/lang/Thread Could not create Java VM Can u help me to make it install properly?
