checkouts using ant

When I try to check out a package using ,I keep getting "error=2" & the checkout fails. The previous command of cvs login was successful. The checkout of the same package works from the command line. Could somebody throw some light on this problem? Thanks, Sreeni

Use ant -verbose or and -debug options to see the actual command line or more detailed parameters of the Ant execution. It may give you an idea what actually hapens.
