My program executes very well in some computers. But
in others, without modify the code, an error occur : Unmarshalling Error.
I’m pleased, Java used to be portable!

The code is made to run in only one computer (just for tests). In a Conectiva Linux works good, but in a Debian Linux an Unmarshalling Error occurs. I’m in the dark, please help me!

It may be due to differences between different RMI/Java compiler implementations. For example, different Java compilers compute the serial id differently.

Make sure you compile all of your code with the same Java compiler and run it using the same version of the JVM both on the client and the server side.

You can also try to restart the RMI registry to clean it of wrong codebase entries.
